Catherine E. Youngman has been a partner with Feitlin, Youngman, Karas & Youngman since its inception. She has been practicing in the area of insolvency since 1994, focusing on debtor and creditors' rights and representing Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees. In 1999, Ms. Youngman was appointed to the panel of bankruptcy trustees by the United States Department of Justice and has served as Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustee in thousands of cases.
In her capacity as trustee, Ms. Youngman has overseen the liquidation of publicly traded companies (including Topps Meat and Headliners Entertainment) and privately held companies in diverse industries.
Ms. Youngman earned her B.A. from Syracuse University in 1990. She received her Masters in Public Administration from Syracuse University in 1991. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University in 1994. When not working or tending to her family, Ms. Youngman can be found watching a sporting event, usually cheering on her beloved Red Sox.
